This is particularly important for medical sciences students, who are often exposed to sedentary lifestyles and substantial academic pressures. </span></span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:9pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span minion="" pro="" style="font-family:"><b><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">Aims</span></span></span></b><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">:<b> </b>The present study aimed to revise, modify, and evaluate the Physical Education curriculum at Ilam University of Medical Sciences, with a specific focus on improving educational equity and enhancing the quality of assessment.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:9pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span minion="" pro="" style="font-family:"><b><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">Discussion</span></span></span></b><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">:<b> </b>Overall, revising the curriculum using the ADDIE model improved educational equity by enhancing alignment among learning objectives, instructional methods, and assessment practices. The shift in grade distribution indicated a more accurate, competency-based evaluation of student performance rather than a decline in learning. This improvement not only increased the transparency and objectivity of grading but also strengthened students&rsquo; trust and acceptance of the assessment process, thereby contributing to the overall credibility of the educational system.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:9pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span minion="" pro="" style="font-family:"><b><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">Conclusion</span></span></span></b><span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span style="line-height:120%"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">:<b> &nbsp;</b>Implementation of the revised curriculum increased grade diversity and mean scores (p<0.001).
